It took a lot of time and effort, but I feel like it is an accurate reflection who I am not just as an advertising art director, but as an artist. For me, art isn’t just something that I do, it is who I am. From my time working in the Chicago film industry as crew on shows like FX’s The Bear and Justified, to my time art directing ads for Fortune 500 companies at Leo Burnett, I try to bring a piece of who I am to everything I do. The kid who grew up on the south side of Chicago, playing guitar in his room has never changed, and I strive to bring that unique perspective and mindset wherever I go.
