Be Culture.
Be In the Now.
Social is where culture moves the fastest, ideas happen organically and conversations spark change. Through thumb-stopping content, I create work designed to connect with people beyond the scroll.
In this section, you’ll see a balance of fun meme-y things that hit on culture, and professional-studio shot content designed to elevate the brand.
Waffle Bites
The brief was to create social content around a new line of Kashi cereal which included their Maple Waffle Bites and gear it towards kids and families with kids to dispel a false perception that it is the “boring, healthy” cereal for adults.. To accomplish this, I developed a visual ID that evoked childhood using a combination of warm lighting, a stop-motion shooting style, propping/set design, and graphic animations/supers edited using Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Honey Hearts & Os
The second cereal flavor of Kashi’s new line. I filmed this one with the goal of appetite appeal, prioritizing closeups of mouthwatering shots of honey coupled with shots of the actual cereal to where you can imagine tasting the honey with every drop. Of course, it’s still geared towards kids so I brought in the visual language of the paper cutouts developed previously and fun music that cues childhood.
Apple Cinnamon Loops
The third and final cereal of Kashi’s new line, I took a different approach by upping the fun by 1000%. Shooting in a POV style, I brought in my grip and assistant camera experience by jerry-rigging the spoon to the camera to prompt the question: what would it feel like to be a spoon scooping up some delicious apple cinnamon cereal?
Super tasty!
Sunnies
Part of a content batch for three months of summer social, We wanted to highlight Visionwork’s collection of sunglasses by showing all the places you can go sporting your shades. Conducting a small social shoot, I shot a pair of sunglasses outside on a stone, cut out the background and made a fun little gif showing that you can take on any environment when you have the right sunnies.
BOGO
Part of a content batch mandatory was a post bringing attention to their July buy one get one free offer. Using some colored backdrops and stone letters that we had leftover shoot, I shot and touched up a pair of glasses to show off the style and options you can get. Special care ware was taken on how the colors interacted with each other: from the lighting of the glasses, the type of glasses chosen, the pink backdrop, and the white stone letters all to evoke a fun, yet stylish aesthetic.
Beachwear
When it starts to get cold, it’s time to go to where it’s warm. We wanted to talk to all those people who chase the sun, reminding them to take the right pair of shades next time they go to the beach with a fun carousel showing off the different styles of shades you can get. Using some colored backdrops and minis we had ordered, I production designed, shot and touched up photography of shades to have the shades live in a world of endless summer.
Watch Out For Bears
Against a brief to make content that drives shoppers to schedule their next eye exam with VW, we made a fun meme-y post talking to summer hikers, reminding them to schedule that next eye exam so they can spot the bears before they get spotted.
Watch out!
Summer Sweeps
The brief was to make a launch post for Farmer John’s “Summer Sequels”. A sweepstakes giving away various goodies. From the tease post, the team had the idea to make the meat it’s own character and live in it’s own world. Going off this concept I had the idea of having all the food coming together to watch the flyer as if it’s a movie. To bring it to life I used Indesign to make the actual sweepstakes flyer. From the photography of the food I shot personally, stock imagery, and photography from the client’s database, I crafted the movie theater frames using Photoshop. I animated the bacon shuffling in with After Effects, and I made the movie screen and brought everything together with Premiere.
If Your Girl…
Capitalizing off the social trend of “If Your Girl…”, we made a fun meme-y static carousel showing our take on it, showing that we are very much in tune with the culture.
Homie Sleepover
There was a pretty funny trend on Tiktok about the homie sleepover and how wholesome it can be so we wanted to see what it would look like with 2 best buds enjoying the perfect sleepover snack: a big heaping pile of bacon. Shot, directed, and edited by yours truly.
Choose Your Dog
Jumping fast on trends and current events is just a day in the life when you are crafting social ads. The big talk of the town was the upcoming LA Rams versus the San Francisco 49ers so we made a quick post hyping up the rivalry within the contest of our meat. The tricky part was how to design a poster cueing these 2 teams without actually using any trademarked logos. Using our brand’s own fonts and the colors of the 2 teams, we were able to join the conversation with just a wink and a nudge.
Autopilot
This was a simple content shoot, but the goal was flavor forward - to provide a mouthwatering experience that relaxes, and that is reflected in how it’s lit. 3 point lighting system using a bounce and a smaller tube in addition to the Aputure 600d spotlight. Client provided the meat, but when I stylized the sandwich, I took care to choose the most aesthetic looking ingredients. I chose seeded bread and added the black peppercorn to add texture and dimension. Pairing a dark leaf like arugula with bright tomato slices got the full range of color and further accentuated the whiteness of the turkey.
Pause for Sammy
This goal of this social post was to show all the different combos you can make with a sandwich using IG built in tap to pause feature. Leveraging images taken from the client image database for the meat and cheese, I used ai to generate the background and the rest of the toppings to create a rapid-fire gif, turning our social into a game where the winner gets to know what they’re going to eat for lunch today!
Back to School
This post was a way to leverage our recipe content and imagery to connect with parents wondering what to make for their children’s lunches. Using a design-centric approach, it was a fun way to spruce up the presentation of the recipe to bring forth the elevation of craft, which is the primary tone of the brand.

On Fridays We Wear Pink
For a batch of social, one of the target SKUs we had to promote was the Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher. Due to it’s pink nature, I thought it would be a fun opportunity to reference the new Mean Girls movie which was coming out around the same time. Taking the vis ID from the poster, I designed it to make it unmistakably Dunkin...but mean!
You Gotta Vogue Nada’
Another target SKU we had to promote was the sausage egg and cheese breakfast empanada. At the time, “beigecore” was trending and the beigeness of the food, while normally would be seen as bland and boring, became a symbol of poshness and high society. We wanted to lean into that by giving our posh new food, it’s own cover on Vogue(like) magazine. It was the talk of the town!
